In order to honor the memory of Dr. Manske, we have created the Paul Manske Pediatric Hand Research Fund at University of Minnesota Foundation to:
- Support research by offering grants for the institutions hosting future annual meetings of the PHSG.
- Continue to offer an annual award for the pediatric hand article that provides the greatest potential impact on the treatment of pediatric hand conditions.
- Sponsor international hand surgeons to attend our annual meeting.
The PHSG annual meeting is funded by a grant from the Paul Manske Pediatric Hand Research Fund. By contributing to this fund, you will maintain your name on the PHSG mailing list and obtain a password for access to annual meeting information on this website. Please donate in order to maintain your name on the mailing list, continue to invite you to the meetings, and most importantly, keep up the good work of the PHSG!
We welcome your support! Please read this section carefully, as our donation process has changed:
- Upon donation, you will receive an email with a password to the Member Resources section of this website.
- Your password will provide access to the option to register for the PHSG Annual Meeting and / or the PHSG lunch at the ASSH Annual Meeting during the calendar year of your donation, in addition to access to new, additional Member Resources (member list, research projects, job listings, and publications/research*). We hope that these Resources will entice you to donate even if you can’t attend the meetings!
- As you contemplate the amount you wish to donate, please consider that the cost per attendee for the last several meetings has exceeded $250. The donation requested from non-surgeons has increased, but is still less than half the cost per meeting attendee, so we are continuing the tradition of requesting a more generous donation from surgeons in order to provide meeting scholarships for non-surgeon members.
